Overview

This founder-led Canadian ecommerce brand makes plastic-free stainless steel bento boxes, bottles and tableware for kids and families. Its customers are parents choosing better materials for their children's food. For a brand built on that trust, every order that arrives on time and in perfect condition reflects on the product itself.

“I started Bare Ware because I wanted to make it easier for families to use less plastic in their everyday lives. We’re not about doing everything perfectly. We’re about creating durable, thoughtfully designed products that make choosing better materials a little easier for busy parents.”

The Challenge

Bare Ware was growing quickly, with demand peaking every year around back-to-school, the brand's busiest season. As orders grew, fulfillment had to keep pace without pulling founder Leslie Chan away from customers and product development.

She needed a 3PL partner that could scale with the brand, handle every order with care and stay easy to reach when priorities changed.

Our Approach

Ecom took over Bare Ware's ecommerce fulfillment and built the operation around the brand's growth and its seasonal demand.

  • Capacity for the back-to-school peak. As orders grew through the brand's busiest weeks, Ecom scaled pick, pack and ship capacity to keep popular products like the five-compartment stainless steel bento box moving to families.

  • Inventory ready to sell on arrival. Inbound shipments are received, counted and made available to sell quickly, so new stock reaches customers fast and stock levels stay accurate.

  • Fulfillment that adapts as the brand grows. As Bare Ware's needs change, the team adjusts how orders are managed and shipped to fit each stage of growth.

  • Custom handling for customer issues. When an order needs special care to make things right for a customer, the team works out the right solution case by case.

  • Direct access to the team. Leslie works directly with the people handling her orders, so any change in plans or customer issue gets talked through and solved together.

  • More time for the business.

With fulfillment running smoothly behind the scenes, Leslie's time now goes to customers, new products and bringing plastic-free lunchware to more families.

  • A partner ready for what's next.

As Bare Ware adds products and reaches more families, Ecom's fulfillment can scale with it into every busy season ahead.
