US fulfillment from Philadelphia

Our US fulfillment centre is in Philadelphia, and it is run by the same operator as our Canadian warehouses. One inventory record, one portal, one team: on both sides of the border.

The Philadelphia centre provides receiving, storage, pick and pack, and returns. Ecom also coordinates freight with the Canadian operation, including the customs requirements for replenishment across the border.

Closer to your customers across Canada and the US

Ecommerce fulfillment centres in Toronto and Vancouver, US fulfillment centres in Philadelphia, Dallas and LA, plus last mile delivery hubs across Canada.

When one US stock location fits

Holding US inventory in one location reduces the stock-balancing work between sites. Assess that benefit against your customer distribution and delivery requirements before choosing the warehouse plan.

Your stock is in one place

Stock held in one US location does not need rebalancing between US warehouses. Compare that simpler inventory plan with the outbound distance to your customers.

One count, not several

A shared stock pool supports US orders without splitting inventory between sites. Availability still depends on receiving, allocation and accurate inventory records.

Fewer legs before the customer

Plan supplier freight into Philadelphia against the receiving schedule and quantities required. Each inbound shipment needs its own documentation and stock checks.

One team who know your account

Your account team can review warehouse and shipment records when an order needs attention. Keep the order reference available so the right movement can be traced.

Which of these is you?

One US warehouse suits two kinds of brand well and a third kind badly. It is quicker for everybody if you can tell which you are before you fill anything in.

A US brand that also sells into Canada

US orders can ship from Philadelphia and Canadian orders from a Canadian centre. Assess the stock each market needs and how replenishment will work between them.

A Canadian brand launching into the States

If you already fulfill with Ecom in Canada, the US plan starts with your existing order and product profile. We still review the integration, inbound and service requirements before launch.

Probably not you, if you need regional coverage

One US site will suit some customer distributions better than others. Share your destination data and delivery targets so we can assess parcel transit, freight and stock placement together.

The part a bigger US network cannot do

A 3PL with warehouses in ten American cities still hands your Canadian volume to somebody else. This is the reason a US page exists here rather than a line on the fulfillment hub.

  1. One operator, both countries Ecom operates fulfillment centres in Canada and Philadelphia. Brands selling in both countries can discuss inventory placement and replenishment with one logistics partner.
  2. The border is a leg, not a handoff Canada–US freight links the inventory plan on both sides. Customs documents and receiving requirements are arranged before dispatch.
  3. One record on both sides The client portal gives your team a view of shipments and stock across the operation. Account setup confirms the records and reporting your business needs.
