Crowdfunding fulfillment for your first shipping wave
A funded campaign creates orders before the stock may be ready. Plan the handoff from production to receiving, then validate backer addresses and destination requirements before committing to a shipping schedule.
Plan the work before the shipping run
-
The backer list is the pick list
Pledge tiers, add-ons and survey responses arrive as one messy export. Turning that into clean, shippable orders is most of the work and it happens before a single box moves.
-
Confirm destinations before the wave
List the countries and regions your backers need served. Review service availability, restricted products and customs requirements before offering delivery to each destination.
-
Address decay is real
Backer addresses can change between the pledge and shipment. Validate them before order release and agree how corrections, failed deliveries and reshipments will be handled.
-
Then it goes quiet
After the wave comes a long tail of late pledges, replacements and a store launch. The stock left over becomes ordinary inventory on the same shelves.

What brands ask
- When should we talk to you?
- Before the campaign closes, ideally before it launches. Shipping cost per country is something backers are charged, and pricing it wrong at pledge time is a mistake no fulfillment provider can fix afterwards.
- Can you ship worldwide?
- Yes, through carrier partners, from Canada or the US depending on where your backers are. Which origin is cheaper depends entirely on your backer distribution, and we will work it out with you.
- What about the leftover stock?
- It stays with us as normal inventory and feeds the store you launch afterwards, which is usually where a campaign makes its actual margin.
